Recently two following organisations have joined forces with PAFA and have by filled the gaps in sports and business roles of PAkistan Australia Friendship Associations.

.: Pakistan Business Association Canberra (PBA)

Pakistan Business Association is a result of Mr. Zia Qureshi's dream of bringing Pakistani Business community in Canberra together and explore the opportunities of growth together.

Official Launch of PBA is on 27th August 2006 during our Jashne Azadi (Pak independence day celbration) function.

PBA will soon announce its strategic directions.

.: Pakistan Cricket Club Canberra (PCCC)

Pakistan Cricket Club Canberra was formed in 2001 and the major purpose was to bring the Asian players and Australians together through cricket. Students coming for higher education from Pakistan find it difficult to adjust in the Australian culture and make new friends. PCCC has been involved in organizing various matches for students so that they may also enjoy the great game of cricket in the wonderful summers of Canberra and make the already multicultural society even more vibrant. Over the past years, PCCC has been playing with various local Canberra teams whose players are from India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Australia.

The Club is managed by 4 lifetime Directors

Mr Syed Jaffry, Mr Irfan Yousaf, Mr Afzaal Anjum and Mr Khurram Butt.

PCCC has organized tournaments, fund raising matches and social events and promises the coming season will be even more enjoyable. PCCC will be organizing the second 'SUPER 8 CHAMPIONSHIPS' in October 2006. For more details contact PCCC Headquarter.
